Forest Bathing

Quick View
Forest Bathing
from MYR 50.00

We invite you to join us on a gentle, slow-paced journey through our garden sanctuary, designed to enhance the beautiful exchange between forest and people. This walk is crafted to slow your mind and body, decrease cortisol levels, and lower blood pressure, leaving you feeling recharged, grounded, and reconnected. There will be an opportunity to dip your toes into the gardens cascading water ways and grounding your bare feet into our rich jungle soil.

As you walk, our wellness partners will guide you through grounding and breath-work exercises and activities that engage all five senses. Experience the therapeutic practice of Forest Bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, which originated in Japan and adapted to the tropical forest here in Malaysia. This practice involves immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere and taking in its essence with all your senses. The effectiveness of Shinrin Yoku is largely due to aromatic organic compounds called phytoncides, which trees and plants emit to defend against pests and diseases. These same compounds have positive physiological effects on us.

This meditative practice helps you switch off, connect with nature, and support your well-being. Forest Bathing offers numerous benefits; studies have shown it reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, boosts the immune system, and improves mental health.

We end our sensory journey at the water garden, where we finish with a reflection and a Tropical Spice Garden-inspired Jungle tea ceremony.

Jungle Rumble

Jungle Rumble
MYR 40.00

Find your way into nature and dance the night away: we lovingly present to you the Garden’s second Jungle Rumble of the year.

Yet again, we're turning the Red Grove Deck into a paradisical sonic playground for the night with three DJs on the roster, curated alongside our good friends from the Jom Layan label. Rain or shine, you can expect an evening of music that’ll get you moving under the lush rainforest canopy and night sky. Come early, dance till late.

The invitation is to lose (and find) yourself in the exploration of gritty, fun, layered and deep grooves that defy the conventional - to the shared pulse of moving together, freely, without judgement. No velvet ropes, no dress code - just good sound, good people, and the joy of being alive and flowing in a hidden, beautiful space.

Get your ticket(s) here and treat yourself to a night of fun you deserve. Tickets for this event is capped and sale will close once we reach capacity. We highly recommend planning and buying early.

Talk: Self-Care & Overcoming Adversity
MYR 0.00

In this seminar, Kathleen Maxwell-Rambie will share how change and loss are natural parts of life through which we can grow and find redemption and resilience.

Grief comes in many different shades, not just losing a loved one. Grief can be experienced through the loss of a pet or of a meaningful relationship as well. We will explore how to overcome loss and welcome grief, and we will learn how to better understand our grieving loved ones. Grief and change are great teachers, and through them we will find redemption.

As Maxwell-Rambie shares transparently from her personal journey of loss and sudden change, every participant will find beauty and encouragement in the ashes of life and learn tools to move from tragedy to triumph.

Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing Forest Bathing Forest Bathing

Overcoming Adversity and Self-Care: A Talk

Teen Kitchen with Chef Jeremy Clark
from MYR 160.00

This course is designed for young people (12+) who want to learn more about the amazing world of food, flavour and fun of cooking.

Teen Kitchen aims to widen the vision of young people into the wonderful world of food and its creation. By understanding the chemistry and art of cooking, anyone can become a Chef!

In these sessions we not only have fun creating exciting and interesting products, we also learn HOW ingredients work and are used. With this knowledge, you can create anything.

Chef Jeremy stresses not only the value of ingredients with their textures and flavours but you’ll also learn how to cook and eat healthily, with quick and easy dishes you can make for yourself or your friends and family.

Armed with “The Knowledge”, you can take part in our Ready-Steady-Cook competition and demonstrate the skills you’ve learned!

Accompanying parents are also welcome!
