  • Passes are non-refundable but transferable. If you find you can't make it, a friend can take your place. We keep the festival intentionally intimate, so passes are limited and sales close once capacity is reached. Book early if you've got your heart set on coming.

If you are transferring your pass to someone else:
    1. You will need to make the selection of Scheduled Experiences for your replacement.
    2. Your replacement will need to present your email address upon arrival at the festival

  • Once your pass is confirmed, you'll receive an email with instructions and access to our festival scheduling platform. Only confirmed pass holders can select sessions. You're welcome to revisit and adjust your selections - subject to availability - so feel free to take your time.

Please note that Scheduled Experiences have limited capacity, so we encourage early booking.

  • Most Drop-Ins are included in your pass at no extra cost. The two exceptions are massages and pottery.

  • Massage sessions are limited, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

To book ahead: WhatsApp Hnin at +66 92 559 4288 with your preferred time and the kind of session you'd like.

On the day: open bookings will run Saturday morning from 9–10am at the Wellness Grove — drop by to see if any sessions are still available.

  • Yes. A free, all-day shuttle runs on a park-and-ride basis. Pick-up points:

    Batu Ferringhi: Golden River Restaurant
    Teluk Bahang: Bahang Bay Hotel

Both are roadside parking; vehicles are left at your own risk.

Other options on getting to the Garden here.

  • You can, but we'd gently nudge you not to. BuMI falls on a long-weekend window with three public holidays in a week, and the area gets very busy. The Rapid Penang busses (101 & 102) or shuttle from Ferringhi or Teluk Bahang will be your faster, calmer option. Fewer cars at the Garden also means more space for everyone to breathe.

  • Saturday: 8am – 9pm
    Sunday: 9am – 11pm

Saturday opens with morning ragas at the Water Garden; Sunday closes late with the cacao ceremony and ecstatic dance. Come for as much or as little of each day as feels right - but needless to say, the more time you spend in nature, the better!

Re-entry on the same of your pass is allowed.

  • The festival runs rain or shine. Heavy weather may shift the timing or location of some sessions - we'll keep you updated on the day, at the organisers' discretion.

  • The festival runs rain or shine, so pack a raincoat or umbrella just in case. We recommend light cotton clothing and comfortable, flat shoes for moving around the Garden easily. Light picnic gear is welcome. Bring your own bottle, tumbler or food container — water stations will be set up around the Garden.

  • Food and drinks will be sold throughout the festival weekend. All on-site food is pork-free and alcohol-free, with vegetarian options available. If you have specific dietary requirements that aren't covered, you're welcome to bring your own food.

  • Yes - the youngest ones are warmly welcome. We just ask that parents help keep sessions undisrupted so other guests can stay in the rhythm of the experience. The Nature Den at the Bamboo Garden is set up especially for kids aged 4–12, with free play, crafts and gentle activities running throughout the day.

  • Unfortunately, large parts of the Garden aren't wheelchair-friendly, the terrain is naturally hilly and uneven. We're sorry for the limitation. If you're attending with someone who has mobility needs, please reach out at hi@tsgspicefam.com before booking and we'll talk through what's possible.

  • We adore them, but pets aren't permitted this weekend for everyone's comfort - our apologies. The Garden is also a smoke-free space.

While you're with us, please leave no trace: dispose of any litter thoughtfully, resist the urge to pluck or pick, and tread lightly. The Garden's plants and creatures are part of why we gather here, let's leave them as we found them.

If you have any unanswered questions, please feel free to contact the festival hotline via WhatsApp: +6019 420 3797 or email bumi@tsgspicefam.com

GETTING HERE

The journey to the Garden is a beautiful one, but parking is VERY limited - especially over a public holiday weekend (3 in total). If you are coming from town, we recommend allocating at least one hour of travel time. Here’s what we recommend in terms of logistics:

1. Public Transport
Rapid Penang buses 101 & 102 stop right at the Garden: it’s the easiest ride in!

2. Free Festival Shuttle (Park & Ride)
Make your way to one of two pickup points and hop on the all-day shuttle from Batu Ferringhi or Teluk Bahang (more details soon).

3. Grab / Car-hailing / Carpooling
Come together, take up less space, double the fun!

The less you have to think about getting here, the easier you can settle in and enjoy what’s waiting.
