As the world races forward with artificial intelligence and blurring of lines between carbon organic beings and the internet of all things, BuMI remains 100% rooted in the human: body, mind and soul. Propelled into a future where humans are only seen as replaceable assets and fast-becoming obsolete parts of the great machinery, BuMI chooses to celebrate the kinks and creases of life - the call of the soul to listen within to the whispers of the heart.
We hope to create a safe sanctuary and to model the possibility to live in a different matrix that does not only reward efficiency, productivity and material growth but also beauty, reflection, and matters of the heart.
This year we will see BuMI Fest nestle into the Garden in a whole new way. We will be exploring nooks and opening up new spaces and really transforming this green basin into a private restful enclave for festival goers. The Garden will be closed to the general public so it’s all yours to savour. And we encourage each seeker to lay down your phones, strip off your shoes, leave your cars behind and come co-create with us. Yes, please use the shuttle and public transportation!
So take time out for yourself this weekend, steal away for a moment with other seekers and relish the gifts of the earth that continue to sustain all life and the breath within us.
