Pottery with Shiramics: Paint Your Mug!
Relax and unwind after a long week and paint the dreariness of your routines away by trying a craft that’s wonderful for exploring your artistic expression and creativity. Whether you’re making a one-of-a-kind piece for yourself or as a meaningful gift for family and friends, this workshop allows you to personalise your ceramic mug.
You’re welcome to bring along ideas, designs or inspirations and you’ll be taught a nifty way to transfer patterns and printed designs onto your ceramic mug. Get creative in nature and spend quality time with your friends/family or enjoy a relaxing solo morning and perhaps make new friends in class!

What you’ll get during the class:
- One handmade mug by Shi for you to paint (approx. Capacity of the mug 300-400ml)
- 5 underglaze paints to choose from
- Unlimited paintbrushes and other painting material
- Tips and tricks on painting
- Your beautiful piece after firing (using dinnerware-grade clear glaze)
- Shipping and handling fees of your beautiful piece
Please note:
1. All materials and glazes used in this class are non-toxic. Your mug is made from stoneware clay that are waterproof, microwave and food safe: a piece of functional pottery.
2. If the colour you seek isn’t available in Shi’s underglaze collections, you can get creative by mixing your own colours with the guidance of Shi as the underglazes are inter-mixable.
3. Attendees should come dressed comfortably in clothes they don’t mind getting a little dirty in.
4. What to bring: A bucket loads of enthusiasm, your wonderful self, and maybe family or friends!
