Malaysian High-Tea for Two: Cooking Class
This experience is happening as part of The Fam Weekend, a two-day celebration of community and nature, featuring workshops and family-friendly experiences in the Garden. It's a thank-you to everyone who’s part of the Spice Fam journey and a hello to those just finding their way here.
As part of this celebration, free access to workshops and experiences is offered to Spice Fam members with an active subscription on or before 22 October 2025, and to newcomers who join with a 3-Month Pass.

Malaysians love nothing more than their high tea with sweet & savoury treats homemade from “Aunty’s” kitchen or our beloved street-side vendors. We invite you into this interactive hands-on cooking session to learn how to make 3 of our favourite tea time snacks. Bring a friend and share the cost of the work station!
You will learn to make:
1. Pie Tee Cups: Mini pastry shells filled with a savoury shredded jicama & carrots served with a sweet chilli sauce
2. Onde-Onde: Glutinous rice balls stuffed with oozing Palm Sugar
3. Kuih Bingka: Baked Cassava cake in Coconut Milk

price is for one cooking station and is shareable for up to two (2) persons

1. Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before start of class.
2. This class is beginner-friendly and no prior cooking experience is required.
3. Listed price is the same regardless of whether you attend yourself or with another person.
4. The price for this class is similar for both adults and children.
