Evening Feature: NAUNGAN
Blending the rich sounds of Malaysia’s many cultural roots, NAUNGAN is a boundary-pushing instrumental ensemble on a mission to unite through music. With instruments like the guzheng, ruan, tabla, rebana, sitar and chinese flute (dizi), their performances are a powerful fusion of tradition and experimentation — telling stories of harmony, identity, and shared heritage without a single word.
As Saturday night’s headline act, the band will bring a soulful crescendo to the Garden: a celebration of rhythm, heritage, and what’s possible when cultures move together.
