Shibari: The Art of Self-Tying

MYR 50.00

Shibari as a Mindfulness Practice & Holistic Nervous System Reprogramming. This new holistic modality blends breath-work, sensory activation, and intentional movement to support nervous system reprogramming.

By engaging in the meditative rhythm of tying, we create a safe, grounding experience that helps regulate emotions, release stored tension, and cultivate deeper self-trust. Whether practiced solo or with a partner, Shibari becomes a pathway to embodiment, self-expression, and deep relaxation. We’ll explore the rope as more than just an art—and more as a transformative mindfulness tool.

Rooted in deep presence, self-awareness, and embodied connection, our approach to Shibari and self-tying invites individuals to slow down, tune into their breath, and surrender into the moment.

31 May, Saturday
2.30pm - 4pm
Glasshouse, Tropical Spice Garden

~

Important info:
1. Wear comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement (loose-fitting, breathable fabrics recommended).
2. No prior experience necessary – this workshop is beginner-friendly!
3. Participants can work solo or with a partner – please come with an open mind and a willingness to explore.
4. Rope and materials will be provided.
5. This practice involves breathwork, mindfulness, and intentional movement – be prepared to focus and engage deeply with your body.

The workshop facilitator, Lisa, is an intimacy coach who explores rope as a mindfulness tool for deep connection, embodiment, and nervous system reprogramming. Through her workshops, she guides individuals & couples in using self-tying and partner work to cultivate presence, sensuality, and inner harmony. Her approach blends somatic awareness, breathwork, and intentional movement, creating a safe space for exploration, release, and transformation.
