Chai & Chat: Eats, Shoots & Roots

What can you grow in your space? How do you keep pests away? And what soil should you use? The questions are aplenty, and they often get in the way of us starting altogether! In this inaugural Chai & Chat session, we virtually (for now) sit down with the good folks of Eats, Shoots & Roots to talk about gardening in a pandemic.

Some points we’ll cover:
· pandemic gardening takeaways
· gardening mistakes
· and anything else you’d like to know!

About Eats, Shoots & Roots:

Founded in 2012, the social enterprise started as an intention to bring urban communities closer to nature, through the growing of food. With a small capital, a small house in suburban Petaling Jaya was the first melting pot to bring together agriculture experts and people who wanted to know more about their food and growing. They’ve since grown into a small team dedicated to helping urban people and communities make the most out of their urban spaces; from converting balconies into edible gardens, to bringing back outdoor classrooms as a place of learning and discovery.
