Garden Camping for Kids
“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.” John Lubbock.
This is a chance for teenagers to get away from the city and their daily routine and connect with nature. Kids will go for a short hike, play by the beach, make new friends, learn outdoor skills such as how to set up their own tents and how to prepare basic camping meals and experience sleeping surrounded by the sounds, smells and sights of nature.
10am, 18 June - 11am, 19 June
Tropical Spice Garden

- cooking lunch
- local biodiversity awareness building
- bird watching
- survival fishing
- star gazing
What’s provided:
- Tents
- Water
- Shower with heater
- Lunch, tea, dinner on Day 1
- Breakfast on Day 2

1. This activity is open to kids aged 10-15 years.
2. For everyone’s peace of mind, participants will need to complete a covid test the day before.

- sleeping bag
- toiletries
- clothes comfortable for sweating in
- at least 2 change of clothes
- water bottle
- medication (if needed)
- long pants & a jacket to keep yourself warm if it rains and safe from mosquitos
- head torch
- sports shoes (for hiking)
- slippers for walking around camp site
- towel
- socks
- hat
- sun block
