About Rexy:
Rexy Prakash Chacko is an engineer by profession and a nature lover by passion. Born and bred in Penang, he started hiking when he was 12, spending his Saturdays exploring the hills around him and savouring nature’s delights. A dedicated environmentalist and a budding naturalist, he is an active participant in Penang’s vibrant civil society, focusing his efforts on safeguarding the hills. He has authored (and co-authored) 4 books on nature-related topics, two of which are on hiking and maintains a hiking column with a local magazine. Rexy is a true-blue Penangite who enjoys everything the Pearl of The Orient has to offer.
